How do I order Cain wines?
Visit our online wine store to purchase wines that are currently available. To order any allocated wines, you must be a subscriber on our mailing list. Click here to join! A couple of times a year, you will receive a personalized allocation of newly released wines. In addition, we occasionally offer special “rewards” to our active mailing list subscribers.

When an allocation period is open, wines will be offered for a specified time only, or until sold out. Quantities are limited, and all orders are processed in the order in which they are received. back to top
How will my wine be delivered?
All shipments are carefully packed in insulated containers and are shipped via FedEx 2Day Air. When choosing your shipping address, please keep in mind that an adult signature is required for delivery. back to top
General Shipping Policy:
The goal of our shipping policy is to deliver our wine to you in perfect condition, the same condition as you would receive it at the winery.

We ship Fed-Ex 2-day air and we only ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so that you may receive your wine within the same week.

We do not ship on Thursday or Friday to protect the wine from being stored in a warehouse over the weekend.

Orders placed Wednesday - Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Orders placed on Monday – Tuesday will be shipped that same week.

We typically charge your credit card 1 day in advance of shipping your order.

Your wine is carefully packed in insulated shipping containers and will ship via FedEx 2-day Air. For delivery, a signature by an adult 21years of age or older, is required.

We strongly recommend you ship to a business address.

We provide the option of FedEx Priority Overnight shipping for an additional freight cost. Please contact us for details.

Extreme Weather Shipping Policy:
During summer periods of high heat (weather over 85 degrees at the shipping or the receiving destination), or during winter periods of extreme cold, we will hold your order for up to one week while monitoring the weather daily.

Should the weather not break in this time frame, we will contact you and you may either ship your order FedEx priority overnight at an additional expense, or the order will be cancelled.

When weather conditions are no longer a threat, we will return to our shipping policy of using FedEx 2-day air and shipping on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for same-week delivery.

We strongly suggest using a business shipping address or coordinating delivery with you when you know you will be home to receive the wines. back to top .
When will I receive my wine?
Weather permitting, your order will be processed and shipped within five business days of receipt your order. All orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday, so deliveries can be expected Wednesday through Friday; this schedule prevents any possible weekend storage in shipment warehouses. back to top
Will I know when my wine has shipped?
If you provide an e-mail address, you will receive notification that includes your package arrival date and FedEx shipment tracking number. back to top
Why won’t you ship wine to my state?
Due to legal restrictions on the shipment of wine and other alcoholic beverages, Cain is permitted to ship wine directly only to certain states. Some states are extremely restrictive and/or expensive in their permit requirements; if this is frustrating to you, or if you live in a state that prohibits direct shipments of wine, we encourage you to contact your state legislature. I received my wine shipment and it’s damaged. What do I do?
Cain Vineyard & Winery is not responsible for damage incurred during shipment or from packages left unattended. However, your satisfaction is our top priority. Please call us immediately, and we will do our best to resolve the situation in a timely and courteous manner. back to top

Where does Cain ship?
In compliance with current state laws, Cain ships* to the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin.

Terms and Conditions:
We make no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products. Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. In placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom you are directing delivery is at least 21 years old. When your alcoholic beverages are delivered, the person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. back to top
